Dolby Australia is currently seeking talented undergraduate students across Software Engineering, Computer Science and I.T. disciplines and to join our state-of-the-art Research and Development facility for a practically focused paid internship, which will give the interns real-world experience working on cutting edge entertainment software that is in use around the world.
Responsibilities:
You'll have the opportunity to work with world-class engineers on market leading product and continue your learning via a dynamic on-the-job experience, accelerating your own growth as an engineer.
As a intern engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and test of Dolby software, and will use your engineering creativity to develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
The Intern program has been created with a view to bringing the next generation of software engineering talent to Dolby, and participation is a bonus for consideration for full time opportunities.
Qualifications:
Selection Criteria:
Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required:
• Engineering/Computer Science student with strong academic record (Distinction average or above);
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development in one or more of the following programming languages or similar - C/C++/Python/Matlab;
• High level written and verbal communication in both general and technology-specific applications;
• Understanding of software design and software lifecycle maintenance; and
• The ability to work unsupervised when required.
We also like people who have -
• A genuine love of technology and writing great code;
• A passion for audio;
• Hobbies! We love to see people who can invent;
• An interest in more than just getting high grades (although that's important too);
• Motivation. You're a self-starter.
