As a software engineer in the team, you will be responsible for building real-time audio software for Dolby's exciting new Voice initiative. (www.dolby.com/voice) This will include interfacing to custom USB audio hardware.
To be successful in this role, you need to have strong technical ability and good communication skills. In addition, you need to be self-driven and highly motivated to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain VoIP/SIP features for embedded systems
- Create and maintain software design specifications
- Follow test driven development practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in SIP, SDP TCP/IP, UDP, Data Networking
- Familiarity with VoIP PBX such as Asterisk, Broadsoft or similar PBX
- Strong C/C++ skills
- Experience with real-time software systems
*LInux development experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner, solid problem solver, with great testing and debugging skills
- Knowledge of software lifecycle management, software source control, and general software engineering best practices
