In this internship, you will become familiar with Dolby technologies in consumer entertainment devices as well as in professional broadcasting equipment. You will contribute to software development that enables the next generation of Dolby technologies.
Location: Wroc?aw, POLAND.
Duration: 2 months.
Responsibilities:
- Develop application that automatizes and simplifies Dolby elementary audio stream and audio/video transport stream generation based on existing SW components and solutions.
- Extend application to support metadata generation for proprietary codecs.
- Prepare content (streams) for demonstration purposes.
- Cooperate with other project members to get support.
- Report progress to supervising engineer.
Qualifications:
- Studies in computer science, electrical engineering or similar.
- Ability to program in C and C++.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
- Basic knowledge of multimedia formats and digital signal processing.
- Ability to program in Python and bash is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interest in audio or multimedia field.
